People inspire me every day.
Friends of mine who I know are going through hard times, financially, emotionally, physically. Yet they get up and get on with it.
Mainly because they don’t have a choice. Well I suppose they could choose to just lie down and give in, that’s such an easy option these days.
These people, however, they fight. They know life is tough and they know things could get worse and they could potentially be facing some s**t times for months to come, it doesn’t keep them down though.
They have learnt that the good times are waiting, they know things are looking better just around the corner and they can face anything that the world throws at them now.
The trials and tribulations that I see my friends and family facing really do shape some phenomenal people and I am honoured to know them.
They honestly amaze me. I have been through some stuff in my life and to others they might think the same of me but I see, read or hear the issues these people face and I just want to tell them how incredible they are.
How strong and magnificent they are, how much it astonishes me that they can be so composed.
These people inspire me every day.
My Mum inspires me to make her proud.
My Dad inspires me to be kind and generous.
My boyfriend inspires me to be a better person.
My son inspires me to create a happy home.
There have been terrible atrocities in our country over the last few weeks and out of these events I have seen the best of us prevail. The loss of life has been devastating and we have been shaken to our core but we haven’t ceased to be. The country woke up the next day, we went to work, we rode the tube, we visited shops, cafes, restaurants. We didn’t allow these events to alter our way of life, which is what those vile creatures intend when they cause terror.
We will not be driven away from our freedoms. We will mourn our dead and we will give remembrance to them and will honour them by not allowing anyone to take away the privileges that we maintain and the lifestyles we lead.
The entire country becomes my inspiration when I see people come together to help victims and survivors. People were inviting complete strangers in to their homes to seek shelter and a cup of tea, taxi drivers were giving out free rides to help people reach a safe place. There were these wonderful amazing people everywhere and it fills me so much love and adoration.
We have seen similar only last week with the devastating fire at Grenfell Towers in London and although not a terror attack the same loss and grief surrounds it. Yet again we see the heroes of our country, the firefighters working tirelessly, I can’t put in to words how brave and selfless they are.
People from all over the country have set up funding accounts for the survivors who have lost everything. Donations of clothes, food, toys and toiletries have been collected and we never stop.
We are there to help out every time. No matter how bad things are within our own lives we’re always willing to help out someone else because we have the decency to realise that there will always be someone worse off than you and you never know when you might find yourself in that same situation.
Be kind, be courteous and be peaceful. Each day let’s try to fill the world with a little bit more love.
Don’t ever let anyone make you think you’re not good enough.
Follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow,
next week, next year. Stop planning, start doing 🙂
Be happy and keep smiling 😀
