Charity shop treasures and pancakes.

I found myself with some free time on Friday and thought what better way to spend it than going for lunch with two of my favourite ladies.

We met in Costa in Skipton and had a quick cup of tea and laughed at my friends son for being adorably cute and saying “hiya” to everything.

I had requested that we find pancakes if at all possible and whilst waiting for me to arrive my lovely ladies had delivered.

We made our way over to Bean Loved where I was told they did pancakes. I love pancakes, I could live off them. Pancakes with bacon and maple syrup is THE best thing ever invented.

Bean Loved is a fancy little coffee shop on Otley Street, just off the High Street, if you get to House of Fraser you’ve gone too far.

Breakfast and brunch are served all day, which is amazing because pancakes… And lunch is served from 11:00 am until 3:30 pm.

The pancakes were delicious, I’ve never seen any like it before, they were about an inch thick and perfectly fluffy. They come with your own little pouring pot of syrup, which is nice because some places seem to think your pancakes should be swimming, not good. I would have preferred the bacon to have been grilled and crispy but beggars can’t be choosers. And it was all delicious anyway πŸ™‚

I highly recommend this little gem if you’re ever in the vicinity.

After brunch we thought we would burn off the calories by mooching around the charity shops. There’s always a bargain to be found. Have a gander at the ones I grabbed πŸ™‚ Two skirts, a pair of shorts and a short jumpsuit for Β£8.

Charity shops are awesome and are probably where I buy 90% of my clothes… although it is very rare for me to go shopping at all. Also when I find something in my wardrobe that I don’t like it goes back to a charity shop πŸ™‚ Just don’t forget to wash before you wear!

And that was my impromptu Friday.

What was your Friday like? Are you a charity shop lover or would you rather stick pins in your eyes than buy someone’s used clothes? Β Let me know ∞
