‘Say the word‘ is an ongoing collaborative project that has brought together survivors of sexual assault, abuse and rape. What started out as a stand alone blog post has now evolved into a collection of stories from men and women around the world.

The book was first published in May 2020 with the title ‘Why do we find it so difficult to say the word rape?’. This has since been changed to ‘Say the word’. All proceeds from the sale of the book go to Rape Crisis England & Wales.

We will continue to take submissions for future books, we don’t ever want to deny someone the chance to share their story once they have found that courage.
