1. Wild – Reese Witherspoon plays Cheryl Strayed, the crazy woman who loses her Mum to cancer and decides that she has to walk over 1,000 miles to work through her grief. It’s based on a true story, the book is far better than the film (isn’t it always). I can watch this over and over, it fills me up with determination and makes me want to get off my backside and do something, mainly it makes me want to hike PCT. 2. Some people are filled with dread when they hear the words “The in-laws are coming to stay” For me it’s the complete opposite. I adore Chris’ Mum. She is wonderful, we get on, we have a laugh and I really enjoy her company. So on the rare occasion that we do get to spend time together it’s awesome!
