How to survive..A day out

I love a good day out, to the park, a museum, the beach. I’m not the biggest fan of people. People can be the total ruin of my day! I’m making progress though..I’d say that I like at least 3 more people now than I did this time last year šŸ˜€ Here’s 5 “rules” I follow for any occasion! Practice your ‘Hi!, we’re having a great time’ smile for every single person you come across. You’ll soon spot the other fakers. Over-enthusiastic grins and wide crazy eyes! Something like this… Cram your pockets and bag with snacks and drinksĀ that you … Continue reading How to survive..A day out

My 2019 Plan!

We all know that I love to plan. I’m the master of planning. I am the Planinator, Planatron? She-Plan, Plan-Woman! And lots of other planning-isms… Therefore I obviously have a plan for 2019. I am positive that it will not be as intense as last year, I really should look at slowing down and finding some more ways to relax, spending time with my loved ones and replenishing my soul! I suppose then, that is my plan. Do less, live more and relax. I do have a few things lined up though… I couldn’t go cold turkey! A trip to … Continue reading My 2019 Plan!

The joys of being a parent…

and the guilt, worry, anxiety and major stress that comes with it! This post was inspired by talking to my lovely author friend and fellow blogger, Debbie Ioanna. We have very similar writing styles and it’s obvious that we see many things in the same way. Debbie suggested that we should do a collaboration on our respective blogs. Not your everyday ‘My Holiday’ post.

I have just returned from another fantastic holiday with my Mum and my son, we’ve been away together quite a few times and we always have so much fun. I adore the relationship that we have, it’s not like a tolerance because we’re family, I genuinely love spending time with both of them. We always have a laugh, sometimes at each others expense, and there’s plenty of silliness, usually from my Mum and I, whilst Christopher stands there and shakes his head. We don’t get on 24/7 of course, there are disagreements to be had, we’re only human, but … Continue reading Not your everyday ‘My Holiday’ post.

My weekend with the Mothers.

I spent the weekend in Wragby, Lincolnshire, with my Mother Goose and my Mother-Outlaw. And it was wonderful! We did so many of the things. Friday night was rather relaxed and mainly consisted of eating some food and going to bed because that’s how rock ‘n’ roll we are… oh we had Prosecco! That’s always rather nice.   Saturday, however, was a whole different kind of story! We visited Bolingbroke Castle, in Bolingbroke, funnily enough. I had Googled some dog friendly places as we had Foxle Doggle with us aka Foxo Stuffing aka Foxy the Dog. Here is dog… Bolingbroke … Continue reading My weekend with the Mothers.
