Just a few thoughts

Whilst I was driving the other day it occurred to me that if I thought about the process of driving then my brain becomes confused and I suddenly think I can’t do it. The operation of driving has become second nature to me and now it is all done on auto-pilot. The same goes for walking. If you are walking down the street and you start to think about how one foot goes in front of the other you can get confused and trip over your own feet. Dreams and Meditation

    Meditation has been a huge comfort for me recently. Not only does it reduce my stress and anxiety levels but it is opening up areas of my mind that are strange and unusual. I spoke of listening to Adagio for Strings in  a previous post and how it conjured up some incredible visuals. This is something I intend to build on. The serenity of it all is addictive. Stop labelling yourself

  I have no doubt what so ever that mental illness is real. I know it is real, I’ve witnessed it first hand, I’ve dealt with it on a personal level. However I do believe to some extent that we are mollycoddling ourselves and exacerbating the situation. As much as awareness needs to be raised in regards to mental health and in keeping people safe we also need to stop viewing it as a personality trait.
