No longer a glamping virgin!

What better way to spend a couple of freezing cold January nights than in a glamping pod up in The Lakes… Hayley and I were glamping pod virgins before our visit to The Quiet Site but the experience did not disappoint, in fact we can’t wait to go back! I had a dream…

    We all dream, whether or not we remember our dreams is a different matter. I always assumed that everyone had weird, f**ked up dreams. I’ve never had a dream that was just normal. Something bizarre, terrifying or just weird usually happens. “What’s your USP?”…

  In my very early days of serious blogging I was chatting to a lady about my blog and she asked to see it. I gave her my site address and she had a quick look. Northumberland: Day One

It’s always a treat to Visit Northumberland, there’s a feeling of relaxation as you make your way further North. It’s serene, calm. The air is clear and you could be forgiven for thinking that could actually run in to a dragon at any given moment. My Mum has a cottage in a small village just outside Berwick- Upon-Tweed and so I get to visit this incredible place at least once a year and it never gets old. “What do you mean you don’t drink”?

  I haven’t had an alcoholic drink since the 16th of July. I didn’t really drink a lot to begin with, I’d probably have one with a meal out. So this isn’t me admitting I have a problem. Prince of Wales Park

Alongside some garages near our house there is a public footpath which leads you up on to Gilstead Moor. We first discovered this trail when we moved here nearly two years ago. It’s a short walk to a beautiful view of Bingley and beyond. You can see all across the top of St.Ives and all the way down the valley past Keighley and towards Skipton. If you carry along over the tops it eventually brings you out at Parkside. If you cross over here you can enter the magical wonderland of The Prince of Wales Park.
