Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! It is illegal to use, possess or sell ‘silly string’ in Hollywood on Halloween. A full moon on Halloween is actually quite rare. The last one was 2020, before that it was 2001 and the next one won’t be until 2039. Halloween is believed to date back as far as medieval times when children and poor adults would dress up and beg for food and money in exchange for songs and prayers. Paranormal Investigation – Hames House

If you’ve ever been to my house you’ve probably been regaled with the story of Mr. Ackroyd. Mr Ackroyd and his wife lived at Kirkfield before we moved there in 1983. Mr Ackroyd passed away sometime around 1980, we think, apparently he had a heart attack in the front garden of the property.
