Hi, I’m Kate. Welcome to your digital sanctuary.
For a long time, I was the ultimate “push through” person. I treated my energy like an endless resource, consistently overriding the quiet signals my body was sending me. It wasn’t until I began navigating chronic illness and the shifts of perimenopause that I was physically forced to slow down.
That pause became my greatest teacher. I realised that resting wasn’t a luxury or a reward—it was a biological necessity. My only regret is that I didn’t listen to my body sooner.
Science is Magic That Works
I have always been deeply inquisitive. With a background in Applied Science, a certificate in Natural Sciences, a degree in Humanities, and my ongoing Positive Psychology training with the British Psychological Society, I am wired to seek the evidence. I need to know the why and the how of our nervous systems.
But I also know that biology doesn’t exist in a sterile, clinical vacuum.
There has always been a softer, more spiritual side to my thinking. I draw profound inspiration from the earth, finding deep resonance in the traditions of paganism and Wicca. I don’t believe we have to choose between evidence and intuition. To me, science is simply magic that works. By combining physical, tangible neurology with the quiet wisdom of the natural world, we find the real answers to healing our burnout.
Rewilding Our Lives
If I could run this coaching practice from the middle of a forest, I absolutely would. I am most at home surrounded by the canopy of trees, walking up a mountain, listening to the rhythm of the waves, or simply sitting quietly while the rain hits the windowpane.
Those aren’t just lovely moments; they are biological interventions. I believe that returning to these simple, grounding elements is exactly how we begin rewilding ourselves.
You don’t need another productivity hack, and you don’t need to push through the exhaustion anymore. You just need a safe space to pace, rest, and remember your own nature.
